Great show and happy Mothers Day to all you Mother out there (& mutha's too)
I've been on the road between Viva and Torque Fest the last couple of weeks so it's been a little quiet on my end. I did want to give you folks a couple of sneak peeks at what's coming up!

Sins of Steel -motor city mayhem 2011 event show t-shirt:

kinda small so here's the detail of the back:

Come on out June 4th to the greater Detroit area to grab yours up!

John contacted me before Viva about doing a winged wheel design for them. I've always hesitated on doing something like this because I'm from Detroit and we have the red wings here (about to be eliminated I'm afraid :( ) Anyway, the challenge was to make something unique, so I started with drawing up a wheel with a knock off cap "ACME SPEC." and drew a few variations of a wing until I settled on this hood ornament / art deco wing.

I'm super stoked the way it came out. There are plans for a t-shirt and a sticker set (facing left and right) for your helmet car or bike. Can't wait to see them finished up!

Lastly, I did up a quicky post card for Vintage Torque Fest Drag Event "Run Whatcha Brung" Drag Fest. If you loved Torque Fest you know John Wells does everything top notch at his shows.

Next week I hope to show off my new 6 silkscreened Poster set that unveiled at Torque Fest last Saturday. It's a collectors box set not to be missed!

Oh yeah, my Friday art fix, Bo Monster the King-o-scratch boards divulges inside info, hrmetalgirl bids for Queen-o-scratch boards with Bad Bobs badass Merc, The 41 Chevy coupe of bro Greenburgs rocks my soul with a great wheel treatment, and the rest of the offerings are cooler than the other side of the pillow. Thanx to all. ~sololobo~

Here is a new one from me this week. This painting started out as a different painting entirely but it was not working out so I painted this painting over the top of it. KC I'd like to see those feet on the bottom of one of the shrunken heads. Thanks for the step by step Bo, always nice work from you.

First I want to thank members Francisco Plumbero and Centurion9 for their kind words a coupla months back that I did not know about till yesterday. Thanks and I appreciate it big time.
Second-spring is here and I raise pigs, kids n horses so that has kept me from finishing anything to put up that is new.
So-Great show already, I need some of this art on my car!
Here is an older piece from me, a claw foot bathtub I flamed in colors matching the bathroom it went in.

  17. My first friday submission. I'm a fairly good sketch artist, but the last couple years I've been teaching myself to airbrush and pinstripe. I don't have the time to become a master like some on here, but enjoy painting my own cars, guitars, helmets, fire extiguishers, wife's hooters, etc. Here's my first shot at using a buegler tool, I'm also getting decent with the brushes as well but still need more practice. I know real stripers look down on 'the wheel' but I've always figured why forsake any tool?

This is a drawing I just completed, and I’d like to thank photographer Trent Sherrill for letting me use one of his wonderfully composed photographs for this drawing! I love Ian Berky’s custom 51 Chevy, with it’s wicked chop and evil stance!!! And the very attractive Kassandra Kiremit in front and of course the Griffith Observatory lurking in the background. Simply “Out Of This World”!!!
