Got my credentials, room is reserved,,,,,,, Now in just over a month, I'm rollin.!! I'll be in my 51 F-1 this year. Stop by and see me. I'll be under the trees kickin back.

One of my favorite racetracks ever!

We won Top Fuel there 5 times (once in Columbus, Oh), so the place holds many fond memories.

 

The girlfriend and i cant wait,we stepped up this year and booked a room at the host hotel

 

looks like some happy people!!!

 

Will be there early Friday morning.....driving Nicks Galaxie.

 

We'll have the K.S. Pittman 33 Willys and the Boss Hydro 33 Willys competing in the TRUE NOSTALGIA AA/GS class....along with having the "Soul Survivor" NITRO Comp Coupe in the cackle-fest!

 

I'm diggin that Topolino !! That is what it is insn't it ?

 

If your talking about the red one above....yep a topolino on a 1967 vintage Don Long dragster chassis..

Just a quick update...... If you don't have a room by now, they are scarce!
I found a room Friday night on Travelocity and there weren't many choices.

YES,it is HOT,and it beats me down every year,but still keep coming back.

Don't know how the Top Fuel guys do it. Got to be HOT in a Nomex suit.

me and 2 of my boys wouldn't miss it for anything. they started going with me 3 yrs ago and it's been a great trip. do a little fishin on the way, stay in our deluxe accommodations and have fun!

 

It looks as if I will be there as a journalist this year doing the coverage for Dragster Australia (unless anyone needs a driver). I am willing to put up with wearing a -20 firesuit in the heat if anyone needs a shoe.
