I'm new to this site and new to the classic car world. My father-n-law started on me 2 years ago to find a rolling chassis to install one of his 350ci engines in the barn and make something of our own project.

But 2-weeks ago we purchased a 1949 Chevy Fleetline Sedan 4-door.
    And we believe it's a 210 model.
So now i'm trying to research everything I can on this car.

If anyone out there has some links to info that you can share, it would be appreciated.

We will do as much as possible to keep this car original but we may have to compromise on a few things and find compatible parts from other vehicles. So if you can advise on those compatable parts, please let me know.

So far this site has had some good info.

    Let the fun begin.

Well Saturday was sweet cause we got the car started. It only ran a VERY short time but that was very promising.

Now we have some adjusting to do. We are thinking of switching it to a 12-volt system also.

    The fun has begun.
