Figured some here might be interested. Great show. These are the raw pics I took sans blur, thumb, and shit shots. I tend to take running shotgun pics and hope I hit a good one every once in awhile. PhotoBucket Link - http://s527.photobucket.com/albums/cc353/SamFear/Torque%20Fest%202011/
Forgot to mention the first pics and a few in the middle are from the VIP section and were not allowed through the gate. Some I didn't take many (or any) pics of because I have pics from other shows. There was something there for everyone, for sure.
Thanks for posting up pics!!! Everything in the building was WILD! Who ever owns the Lavender 57 chevy wagon and the silver 55 chevy w hurst slicks on it, I want them both! I saw them up and close Saturday at the show. They were both gasserlouie outside picks of the show!!! Coolstuff (John) you put on one hell of a cool show!!!
Yeah however he mentioned that these were cars parked outside... the cars in the buildings were cool... do you have better shots of the cars that were inside?
Thanks John and everyone helping to put on the Awesome Show!! The weather was great Friday. Saturday weather was cool in morning, warm up later, it was great no rain. Thanks to everyone in the small town that welcome us. The bands were super. I missed the meet & Great was volunteering working booth. They had so much going on, I missed the bus racing and wanted to see that. Can't wait for next year!!!!! Sure wish I would have yelled louder for the WEEZ print.
Awsome pics they should have let the ratrods in and kept out some of the pretty painted stuff but just my 2 cents looked like a great show.
Spent the night on the floor of a 20' trailer (actually very comfy) behind the main building after partying til 3 a.m.. This is me hung over as HELL driving from my 11:00 wake-up behind the building!! LOL Thanks very much for the picture!!
Hey - chubbie - I dont recall seeing you at the show......... also it should be noted that the pix in this album are not sorted.....the album consists of cars that were in the show and cars that were in the "VIP" lot. We had inspectors on the gate determining what met the entry requirements and what did not - and some of the pix in this album are CLEARLY from the VIP lot......... we tried to adhere to the guidelines set on our site. www.vintagetorquefest.com
ummm....where did you read that this was a rat rod show? did you read the entry requirements for the show? As stated in my interview with Gene Winfield on Vintage Torque DVD #1 "We drove cars in primer because we couldn't afford to paint them!"

thanks for the show john good time and a great 8 hour cruise. i respect you for only admitting safe car[ no open driveshafts-safe fuel containers etc] i also enjoy my freedom we have with our cars that many have fought hard to keep. we dont need laws passed to make it hard on us with safe rods because some want to make statements with unsafe ones. see you next year.
I had a great time!! I thought the quality of the cars was fantastic. Probably a top 5 show that i have ever attended, cant wait to go back next year. Well done, John.
Geesh, what a great album....almost like being there, minus the smell of engines, tires, and all that other wonderful stuff... Thank you indeed for taking and posting these pics.... Cheers !!
Wasnt trying to make anyone mad looked like one heck of a show with a great turn out. And fantastic pics thanks.
