Event Coverage 2011 VIVA LAS VEGAS - Pictures , Pictures, Pictures

Next trip you are riding with me! It didnt last long though.....the bird ran outta gas after a mile an a half. hahaha. 0.3 MPG!

 

Just got back to Australia. I had a great time at my first ever visit to a US car show. It was awesome to catch up with lots of people face to face finally.

JarzenHotRods, There is a bit of a yellow tint to your photographs, Intentional?
It certainly makes them appear aged and authentic. Well done

 

The Custom Corral looked killer with the indoor style outside,brings a different angle to the car show part of the weekend.All of the cars that were chosen looked great behind the velvet ropes.

 

I'm thankful for the Custom Corral. It made up for the huge concentration of ugly rat rods. No show has 100% stuff that pleases me.

Hey Axle,
Like Johnnie said the work was long but fun, but the best time was Sunday afternoon at the bar with you, Johnnie, Harry and myself. We drank for about 4 hours and had sports book hot dogs. Good times.

You guys killed me Sunday, everytime I looked up, somebody was setting another drink in front of me. Not wanting to offend, had to drink them all ! Sports book Hot Dogs are the best sort of tradition, we eat 'em every year. It was a great afternoon, kicking back drunk and relaxed.

I had a great time this year.......driving coast to coast was pretty insane...especially driving home with my 30 Coupe in the back. We (Road Devils) dodged tornadoes the whole way back..it was intense to say the least...be we all made it home...safe and sound. To everyone I met...it was great and can't wait until next year!!!

yea that car is def sick as hell. plate is stupid unless he did it for a rise .....but i love it and the chop on the top looks sick ..thanks for the pics

 

Here's a couple that caught my eye, a lineup of the Lonely Knights cars, and a couple from the trip home along Route 66. Finally got to stay in a Teepee at the Wigwam Hotel in Holbrook, AZ. The Snowcap in Seligman, AZ was closed, but we got a photo anyway. What a great trip...Thanks, Axle!

Also, I wasn't there, and don't take this the wrong way but isn't the "Best hot rod" kinda a little too Brookville looking...?? From the coverage I have seen, there are WAY better contenders deserving of that title.

And yes...it was an HONOR..to have you PATCH me in....and it's a privilege to be part of an elite group of bad-ass dudes that are willing to give the shirts off their backs in a moments notice!!! I had a killer time in Vegas meeting all the guys and can't wait to meet the rest!!!! RDFL
