Nice work, you've got a good-lookin' motor now. All it needs is a generator.

 

Good idea. Maybe make them up out of stainless tube and polish them up. Car is looking great. Just a note, I don't think you need to go to 2000 on the sanding to get a nice polished finish. Mike

 

I just figured if it was worth sanding to 2000 on a paint job it was worth doing it on some metal, but i'm glad that there is an extra step I can cut out.

 

With three to choose from, I can always find something to do on one of them!

 

Pull the SBC and slot in a flathead....

 

Ya need one to drive and one to be building on. Then you need one waiting in the wings. An finally you need a pile of parts that are to good to pass up, to good to let go, and not good for anything that you are doing or have planned. When you have two drivers give one to the lady (or gent) in your life.

On my T-Bucket i used a chrome one wire alternator from Summit and a chrome low mount alternator mount off of e-bay. It mounts the alternator down low on the front of the engine.
