    I have a starter that I want to sell. It came with some Dodge gear I bought a while back but it's not for a MOPAR. I know it's for a Ford V8 but not sure what it actually fits. Some quick research shows it as fitting small block with manual trans. I.e. Mustang, etc. Any info appreciated.

    The markings on the starter case are;

    • AUTOLITE 12V
    • DOAF-11001-C
    • 9M9C
    • MADE IN USA
    On the nose casting there are the following markings;

    • Ford (In Ford script & oval)
    • D2AF 11131-CA
    Thanks

    Thanks mate. That's about all I need to know. I did see on the web this morning that it appears to have also been fitted on 1970 manual Mustangs.
