Where did ya get the fronts and what size are they? If you keen the edge most I know jack the car up to a comfortable height and have someone slowly spin the wheel while the rest their arm on something stationary like a block. The best is on a lift while resting your arm against the leg.

Man you guys are brutal. He wasn't posting his ride so much as to show you the wheels he wants pinstriped. If the car wasn't in the shot, you wouldn't have had anything to bitch about. Instead, you completely alienated a fellow hot rodder. Real nice.

The guy just asked about pinstriping his wheels,If pinstriped wheels are not traditional what is?For all we know he may have a 55 belair or a roadster for the wheels to go on,just because he has a cutdog in the picture...everyone jumps his ass, nice way to turn off a new hot rod guy...chase him back to the lowrider crowd.Maybe he will buy someones traditional 32' & put some portholes & daytons on it.Thanks Boones for trying to help him.

All right, I know I am a FNG, but something about the way this guy was treated does not sit well in my stomach. Would you guys do that if you saw him in person? I bet not. My feelings are if you dont want him here, maybe try to help him find some help somewhere else. There are ways to tell people that you dont want them around, I just think this was a little rough. Just my opinion. Am I aloud to have one here?

Im sure now I will be asked to leave now also, and that would be a shame, because I have learned alot from this site, and hope to continue. I guess I grew up in a Hot Rod world full of lowriders, mini trucks, traditions, and yes ever Rat Rodders, I dont treat any of the any different. I always figured they loved their Hot Rods as much as I loved mine, no matter what the type.

Have to agree with 3onthetree3. All the guy wanted was some info/pics on pinstriped wheels. Where else would he go to find that information but a place like this? He certainly couldn't go to a forum that caters to his car. Most of 'em probably wouldn't even know what he was talking about. So he comes here..."the HAMB"....the best "traditional hot rod" site on the web and he gets blasted. It's too bad really. I love this site. I've learned more here than anywhere else. And since I've never built my own car before, the wealth of knowledge here is amazing and extremely helpful. But by the same token, I'm afraid to ask questions sometimes for fear I'll ask the wrong thing and get trashed by someone who thinks just because they know all the answers that everyone else should too.

    Its the internet, nobody cares.

If your "car" doesn't fit the criteria here, find somewhere else were it does.

    Simple enough?

If its in the right place people will respect it.

Most of the dicks are on here because their lack of personality in the real world. The guy asked a question about pinstripping a wheel, whichto me seems traditional as hell. So why bash him. Not everyone has the money to buy a real 32 ford roadster.

  27. Yeah, it's the internet so all forms of pleasantness and polite discourse are automatically voided.

It wasn't about the "car"....it was about the wheels.
    Simple enough?

If he had only posted the photo of the wheels and not the one with the car in it, nobody would have been the wiser.
