South Shore Street Rods is holding it's 11th annual N.S.R.A. Safety inspection. At Kingston Trailers Rte. 106, Plympton, Ma. April 30 2011.

Free coffee and donuts at 8:00am.
Free burgers and foot long hot dogs around noon.

The inspection is free. It's just another set of eyes to see if you might have missed something. NSRA has made a list of the things that has caused problems for other rodders in the past,

Ever since Ronny brought me out to meet you guys a million years ago, we always considered your Safety Inspection the kick-off to the season.

It's always a good time to catch up with the guys I haven't seen all winter...besides and more important, there's free food!!:D

I'll see all you guys next week.

I think I'll swing down for this, albeit on my 'unsafe looking' motorcycle.

  7. Say what you want about how much the N.S.R.A. has changed,,like it or not,but the safety inspection is a great opportunity to have the "extra eyes" look over your ride,,you would be surprised at how many problems they find that people overlook.

They are not there to pick apart your car,,but I have seen nuts on steering linkage loose and in one case gone after the guy had driven over 300 miles,

It's free and free food is offered at this one,,,I would say that's a win-win situation.HRP

i used it as an opportunity to check the 54 out before becky and i went on the road trip to bonneville. totally worth it for another person to have a fresh look at your car. and with food and friends, it's even better.

It is always good to have and extra and different set of eyes look at a guy or gal's rig where safety is concerned.

Not a bad idea to have a copy of the inspection form/check off list tacked to the garage wall to make sure that you went back and checked your own car over too.

  19. Ive had cars inspected by NSRA for decades, and its always been a good deal.It also has helped on the resale of a couple of cars too,This is the one place I have always thought GOODGUYS has dropped the ball and made it look like all they cared about was the money and not the people............dont get me wrong I still like what NSRA and goodguys have brought to the table.
