Sorry about the giant sizes on some of the posts.They were fine when I first posted them.What must have happened is that I cropped some photos from those pages and resized them bigger to get the crops to come out big.Apparantly Photobucket boosted the size I posted here also.I tried to knock the size down but does not seem to work.
I pretty much suck at this stuff.I'll get it figured out hopefully.

At the top you posted a scan of Johnny Gaithers chevy coupe, I had heard the name before and after doing some searching around I found this link with a story about the coupe and how it recently burnt up in a garage fire. It is being rebuilt though.

You mention Mousie Brown and you might not believe this but 'Hacksaw' is stashed in a barn not too far from here! Thats the truth, a buddy and i are going to go over there one day and take some 'barnfind' pics.

George was the track announcer at York, he now drives/narrates the Trolley Tours of Hershey PA.

Was showing Don Garlits my scrapbook pics of his match race at South Glens Falls and he got to remarking how,when he went to the new Hemi,it was not as quick or fast as the early Hemi.
He told me he was talking to Connie Kalitta(if the memory is correct) about it,because Connie was running better.Kalitta said the new Hemis like a lot more lead so Big dialed it in and really woke the motor up.
