  3. What exact models and year Jags have this front suspension?

Hey, got a 4-door deluxe parts car, shoot me a reply if there is anything in particular you need, or parts you are not re-using. Like that seat...

Thanks for the offer. I'm keeping the seats, I dont need the rearend, front end, or tranny. Everything else is being kept.

  8. We are doing a Jag IRS swap today on a '51. Are you using all four rear coilovers? Any pics with the body back on?

I dont think I will be using all four coil overs, its pretty damn stiff.

What I'd really like to do is get some air struts on the front mounts and regular shocks on the rear mounts. Not sure if im gonna yet i will try it with just 2 coil overs too though

Hope to get the body back on soon, I plumbed all the brake lines and the frame is painted. I need to clean up the underside of the body, get it painted and I'll put the body back on. Its really cold here now though. Going to wait until it warms up.

Like old lovers reunited, I finally put the body back on the frame yesterday.

I still have to cut the old steering box off the column which I will be reusing. So until I do that the body is sitting 3" further back than where it needs to be. You can see it in these photos. But the great news is there's Plenty of clearance all the way around the rearend.

Another issue is the stiffness of the rear susp. You can see that it's sitting awfully high in the rear. Two of the rear coil overs are coming off because the car didnt even attempt to squat! Jags must be super friggin heavy!

This weekend is motor/tranny mock up! I decided to build all my own mounts. Cause lets face it, Im broke and the bills won't stop coming in, but I got plenty of steel and welding rods laying around so Imma make this happen Cap'n!

My steering box was partially disassembled and missing parts.:(

Still plugging away at the 52, got the 250 motor mocked up, mounts built and pulled the motor to freshen it up. Will reset it soon and get photos of it and the mounts once they are all prettied up. Currently brainstorming on if I want to go with a hydraulic clutch or not.

Engine mounts made from 3" angle. Using the jag biscuits.

Trans crossmember mounts. Still working in the crossmember.

Borg warner T-50 five Banger tranny. These came in monza spiders. I had one when I was a kid in a early 80s Camero. I loved banging gears in that car and the shift pattern is unique so I found another one.

  30. Having owned a Jaguar for a few years I'd say you're making the best possible use of the Jag. I wish I had stripped down my Jag and saved the parts to use on my Buick.
