Art & Inspiration Cars with faces?

Just commenting on another thread about how the rear end of a 59 Chevy always looked like a scheming/angry face to me (which I think is really cool), and it got me wondering what other cars look like they're looking back at you? Old cars had much more personality and the designers were much more willing to push the envelope than today, so you got really neat designs like this. Always made me wonder if the designers saw it too, or even did it on purpose.

I don't have a pic but no doubt some one does. Anyway the front of a '41 ford always reminded me of a smiley face. Like in have a good day smiley face.

The front ends of the new Mustang,Camero and Challenger all have a scowel to me.

Yeah! My '05 pony will soon have yellow fog light lenses... Can't wait till it warms up a little around here..

right on!! with the cro-magnon sloping forehead (hood).

 

I've actually got a future project in mind that will literally turn the front of a old ('49-50) Dodge pickup for sedan into a stogie-smokin', snarlin' face.. lower lip.. brow-like scrowl going over the headlights. Just one of those stupid ideas I get that I have to play out.. Of course what I have in my mind and what I end up with...???? Who knows.

i read an article that said the front of the subaru tribeca looked like a "flying vagina". i don't know about all that, but it made me laugh.

 

anybody have a pic of a 55 chevy with a 'vette grille? they look like a real shit-eating grin to me.

LOL... Someone had told me once that Chrysler bought the remaining stock of Edsel grill bumpers from Ford to use on the 1970 Dodge Coronet.. Don't know if it's true er not... They sure look the same though...

 

i dont see a face on the rear of a 59 chevy unless its the face of a cross eyed asian ..... the meanest faces on cars all belong to exner era mopars go stand in front of a 59 dodge and tell me different or a 58 plymouth

no edsels and 70 coronet dont use the same bumpers not even close the edsel "grille surround" will fit inside a 70 coronet bumper i have a 58 edsel surround in the basement and id love to own a 70 coronet one of my favorite mopars
