Any clue what wheels these are? 18" artillery and looks like 4.25 wheel spacing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

35 Chevy standard wheels. Masters had 6 lug. Nothing else seems to have ever used this bolt pattern, you need to have your hubs redrilled or use adapters to put these on anything. I think they're 17 inch though, how are you measuring that?

I agree on Chevy Standard model. I saw a set at a swap last summer and he took them off of a 36 I think. I don't recall the rim size, just the odd small pattern.

I have a book here. It shows tire sizes on 32 34-37, but not 33 for some reason. I suppose it might be 33? because I know Olds came out with that style spoked wheels in 33.

The 32 was 18 like most 32 US cars. Then 17 for 34 up. Most US cars went to 17 by 33 or 34.

The correct artillery wheels for your 39 Chevy are 15x5-1/2. These wheels were introduced in 1937 and they give you the opportunity to run more modern tires as well. I am running tubeless radials on my truck. Probably would have went with Firestone Bias ply but the new radials came with my truck when I bought it, so I just decided to wear them out. I'm not having much luck with that though. I have over 25k miles on them now and they really aren't showing much wear.

six lug 16 inchers are around, you just have to hunt for them. I got two with a trailer axle that I dug of a friends junk when we cleaned up his place to sell it and am still hunting for two more.

I just picked up 5 of those in 17 inch with brand new firestone blackwall bias ply and they have GM stamped on the back of them. I was told they were late 30's Chevy wheels.
