    I don't think so, the guys at the lot were pretty stupid. The funny thing was that I already had a schedule for a photo shoot for Popular Hot Rodding so I just turned them onto the new owners and it became a Feature car. I think it was 1974 or thereabouts.
    I saw reference to Big Willie and Tamika on your post, I never ran one of there organized street deals but did attend a few of the pre race gatherings. He had a bad ass 440 Charger and her a Hemi Challenger both given to them by Dodge as I remember. This was before they opened San Pedro, man she could Drive!
    Anyone remember the cutie with the small block Vette that said "You beat me You eat me" on the back panal?

    I believe that was taken at Irwindale where it ran an 11:17.
