It's been a while since I've taken you guys for a ride...

Get in boys and girls! We're going for a ride in the '55!

Let's idle through the neighborhood... it's not as loud outside the car as it is inside the car.

Listen to the whine of the M22... it's music to the ears!

Once out of the neighborhood there's a good stretch of road... a little over an eigth mile to get on it... and about that to shut her down... so a good run is ahead of us.

Now some people think short stroke motors rev faster than this long-stroke big inch small block Chevy... hahaha... ok, whatever.

7000rpm, drop the clutch... get out of shape... peddal a bit... get back on it with traction and run it up to 7000 in 1st... then 7000 in second... then up to 6500 or so in 3rd and let off.

Our turn into the neighborhood is coming up soon!

Love it. Sounds great. Yeah, small blocks SUCK! Wish you lived in my neighborhood. I also wish we could see out the front when you were hammer down, but I loved watching the pedals too.

thanks for the ride.id trade all my cars to get my 55 back. that video was great but it hurt also.after riding in yours, i cant fiqure out why in the hell i sold mine.and i had it for over 20 yrs.
