Damn. I am also looking for ideas for my 63 Bel Air and I am way too torn on what I want. The toned down Version H is pretty sweet.

Well I finally decided, and I is the winner for me. couple of things still up in air, grille and the wheels and tires. Now all I have to do is find someone to paint it and get on the list at Fat Lucky's.

I respect people's rides...but in comparison to the '63 you're starting out with in terms of editing, your edits are PROPORTIONAL and in my opinion, correct; the car should be lowered with kustom paint, panel painting and mild scallop work. They look so silly when they're jacked up in the air without white walls and chrome reverse rims and smoothies. Thank you for generating the right way to fix up a '63 Chevy. I apologize I'm so narrow minded, but I sure wish everyone else where I grow up in Maine would have more creative thought and fix up their rides differently from everyone else's jacked up cookie cutter late great chevys. Again, no offense to those reading this post who have such a ride. I respect it. I just wish there were more kustoms around with late great Chevys. Their long, graceful, elegant lines beg for riding low and creativity with paint and the right set of wheels.

It's kind of a dumb question, but what size are the rims? They look like 15"s to me, but I'm wondering if I'll get that "full" look with 14" wheels or if I should go with 15s

I believe Dwayne sold the car unfinished. I really wanted to buy the car and finish it as a mild custom as he had intended, but just couldn't make it happen.

Very cool. Id love to see a large scallop that runs along the belt line starting at the rear of the front wheel well and along the rocker. Ive got a '63 Biscayne I want to give a mild custom look to. A all white car is just so blah.

What a coincidence! I have a '63 Biscayne as well, also in the mild kustom stage...
