    The wrecked '56 Chevy in post 24794 looks like a 210 hardtop. Pretty rare car, even back then.

    I haven't researched it yet, I found it on a website full of random images (I suggest not going to that site, it's full of stuff I wish I had not seen)

    It's pretty wild, I've never seen this one before.

    Scratches and dents are expensive to repair at the dealerships. On some models of new cars there is a dollar threshold and if damage during transport
    exceeds that amount a car can be crushed.

    I watched a driver unload a transport of mid 80's new cars once. He had the whole rig emptied and the cars parked in minutes. And not a scratch on one.

    Omaha beach D-Day+1. My dad landed the day before and he's here with me I'll have to show him this pic..

    Chivalry isn't dead, it just has redirected blood flow! :D

    I was so blown away when I found this photo, I had to share it. Look how far the landing craft are on the beach, the tide must be out.

    Is that Catherine Deneuve with the Citreon. She was in A Man and a Woman, Bell du Jour etc.
    She was supposed to be the next Brigette Bardot.
