Hot Rods early-mid 60's paintjobs?

    i treid the search, and i couldnt find what i was after.

    so in the early to mid 60's, what kind of different things were people doing with their paintjobs on hot rods? looking for any inspirational pics, just running a few paint ideas around with a buddy of mine thats helping me build my A.

    Beach Boys / Castillo Coupe. I think a lot of early / mid 60's cars were influenced by that car.
    Candy paint.

    Depends if youre going east coast or west coast style.
     
  6. The 60's were influenced by metallic colors. Not everyone could afford a candy or flake job but the wide array of metallic colors made the car world more interesting.
