No, actually none are from Flat Rock, but most are from Michigan tracks.

I think the one of #60- Bobby Jacks is at Kilkare. Used to see him run a old '48 Ford I think.??

I hope to find some photos of the cars I worked on "Latemodel" dirt '56 Fords and later our '63 & '66 Fairlanes. I don't have any myself as we were too busy trying to race to make photos. I will post if I can find someone with them.

Here's a couple more from my old files:The last one is what racing is all about, a family enjoying their dirt racing experience.

I hate to hear about B.J., he along with Bob Harmon (Allpro), Rex Robbins (ASA), John McKarns (ARTGO) and a few others brought short track racing from the bull rings to forefront with traveling series' and name drivers. They all put on a good show and probably saved short track racing back in those days.

I got a message that the Jasper Speedway in Jasper Alabama will reopen after being closed for many years. The race track was purchased by Kenny Hogan and part of his show will be a class of 63 and earlier hobby stocks. he has a feel for the old days... Hey Falcon Red any shops of the standard speed shop of Dawsonville?? thank You.. Bobby..

How about the their truck and Bill's first Cup ride. Sorry about the quality but these were with an early camera and scans of the prints. Could be a little pilot error maybe?

I have gotten a hold of some pictures that have not been seen for almost 40 years. These pictures came from Lyle Nabbefeldt's bar from Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. I will be going to Tom Reffner's race shop next week to find out more about the pictures. There is a picture of the first car a Griffith park speedway that had slicks. Picture of Dick Trickles 1st or 2nd car, its bark blue colored with Dick Trickle on the side. Tom Reffners 1st or 2nd car, Jim Backs 1st or 2nd car. Tom Reffner is going to help me with names and cars. I'll have the pics and info asap on here. I'am trying to get the rest of the pictures, I have only 11 now, but I was told there may be as many as 100 to 300 pictures. These pictures went all the way around Lyle's bar. I hope to get them soon!!! Three of us in the Rapids area are collecting as many old race car pic, movies, and programs. I have moves on vhs of Griffith park and Golden Sands Speedway 1st race. I also have vintage motor cycle hillclimb pics and movies as well.

Man, after the shake-up this thread has virtually stalled for posting of photos. What a bummer as it was a cool site!
