I got these old 20" Mopar high clearance wheels on a car I traded for. They are kinda neat, but don't really fit the '60s vibe of the car. They look like they should be on the salt.

the story that was told to me by his son was that his dad was a machinist that usto do all of these prototype parts for indy and sprint cars and these were brought into the shop and never picked up. they are a knock off style wheel but no maker or any idea what they were for.

Chaparrals ran a nearly identical wheel but in a five spoke instead of six - otherwise they look virtually the same.

Those look like the ones I posted in #201, now cleaned up and on my avatar car. I don't know for sure what ET called them, but they should have a "X" cast in the back. I guess it's Roman numeral 10.

If rare means very few seen, these may qualify. American "Rodmasters". Have these on one off-topic car, and had a pair on my flatbottom's trailer. Decent looking Hal splash that was marketed badly by American.

    Yes and No.
If you don't open up the size of the hole, then yes it requires the very rare and expensive motor wheel nuts.
But I have the correct reamer to open the holes for use with the readily available short shank lug nuts. takes about 4 minutes per wheel to do...its that easy. I can loan it out with a deposit.
