This one made my distributor of the week for this week. After some discussion with a fellow Hamber there doesnt seem to be a lot of distributors available for the 337 big flatheads. So lets make one up. We need a good core distributor for parts and make up of the drive shaft ( a un-usual duck for sure). A trip to the machine shop and make up a new butt on a Mallory rev pol of correct rotation etc. A little machining and a new sleeve pressed on the housing and "walla" you have a new 337 distributor housing using the Mallory insides and the "cool look" Mallory rev pol two piece cap. A little assembly time and one the machine we go, this one had a little too much advance and needed the internal stops shimmed up to make it picture perfect. It will recieve a pertronixs electronic module etc and its done . Nice look dont ya think???
