Event Coverage Cincinnati - NSRA Appreciation Day - April 9, 2011

Ohio Area Hot Rodders:

Well its that time of year guys and gals, spring is coming and that means Hot Rod season is almost here. On what has become a <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comCincinnati</st1:City> area rodding tradition, the annual Wade Hughes Hot Rods and Cincy Street Rods NSRA Appreciation will be held on April 9, 2011 from 10:00 to 2:00. This event is growing each year and is considered the official kick off to the street rodding season in the <st1:City w:st="on">Cincinnati</st1:City> area.

Once again, Wade Hughes is courteous enough to open the doors of his shop in Miamitown, <st1:State w:st="on">Ohio </st1:State>to host the event. Please come join the 200+ cars, get your car inspected, eat some great food cooked by the Cincy Members and just have a good time.

Again, please mark your calendars for April 9, 2011 to kick off the year with Cincy Street Rods and Wade Hughes Hot Rods. We look forward to seeing you then. Please see www.thecincystreetrods.com for more about our club and our other events.

If you subscribe to StreetScene Magazine, please note that there is a typo on the date of our event in the February Issue. It will take place April 9th NOT April 16th. It is too late for StreetScene to correct the date but we want to be sure that we catch everyone. Please help spread the word that the correct date is April 9th.

Look forward to see all my old friends and cooking hot dogs for new ones.

just curious is this like a show? i dont understand what you mean by appreciation day is it anything like the shows the cincy street rods have at the butlercounty fairgrounds

 

I'll be there once again. Great show, great people, great time.

 

If I can get all the empty beer cans out of the back of the 64 from the Cavalcade I will be there.....

 

NSRA Appreciation Days are held all over. It's a chance for you to get your car safety inspected by the safety team in your area and since they are usually held at a local shop, it's a chance for an open house.

As stated above, this has become the first outing for many around here now and a chance to bring out what you spent the winter working on.

We are getting closer and closer, finish wrenching on those hot rods and bring them out and start off the 2011 season.

With that being said, I'm not sure if mine will be done but I'm trying like hell.
