You drove right through where I live in the Littlefield/Muleshow TX area....that's the same why I went to the roundup too. I laughed pretty hard when I saw the goat cook off sign....I also thought the sign in Roundup, Tx would make a good photo op, but lame in the new truck. Maybe next year we can get a group to go from lubbock to austin.

Wish I'd known you all were passing through town.., would have like to have met you all. I live about 1 mile southeast of where your picture was taken. Fort Sumner... Sorry about the ticket incident. Yeah, it does tend to be a County Sheriff legalized fund raiser event, around noon and school letout. It bothers me that they have set the speed limit at 15pmh on US60, while it is 20mph in Clovis on more congested streets.. 15 mph is a crawl...GGrrr!

I will look for the listing in the paper for your ticket.. We do have problems with a lot of Texas cars and SUVs out here.. they like to drive fast and get this part of New Mexico over with..

Great story and pics... Nothing beats a good road trip in an old car. You never know what is in store. Very cool you guys came all the way to Texas. Hope to get to make it to Cali. this year.
