Sold my T-Bucket (roadsters and rain sucks :p ) and bought me a 62 300.
Its fairly untouched,no bondo or bad rust repairs.
Got to Sweden in 2006 and the owner before me changed the 383 to a more correct 413 that he rebuilt.
He also put discbrakes in front and rebuilt the frontend, put a new windsheild in and new exhaust.
So it was a good project i bought.

My goal is a mild kustom in some kind of 60s style.

Some pic of when i got it home.

First thing i did was to put 2inch blocks in the back and lower the torison bars in front.
Also bought a set of astros from a friend.

Looks nice and clean, I'll be starting on my '62 shortly.

What did you do with the old side trim? I'd love to have that for my car, although shipping cost from Sweden might kill the deal. I like that a lot better than the Newport trim on my car.

I like it. That is an uncommon car to see in the US also.

Great vehicle bro, should look very sleeked up with your trim removal, put that stuff on e-bay and it could help fund the project, just a thought. The car will give you some fun and prestigeous moments. Love these cars in the white which is so classic for this race car in disquise. Love it that the 413 is in place and other mentioned mods will have it driving better than new. Good Luck ~Sololobo~

Thanks, yeah it nice with the 413.
The owner before me dident like the 383 that was in the car when it got to Sweden,he said he never got it running as smooth that he wanted to.
So instead of rebuilding the 383 he bought a more correct 413 and rebuilt that instead.

Well at first i was thinking of just putting some old american racing rims or some racing rims from the 60s on it and hop up the 413 a little just because its a real 300.
But then i thought, what the fuck its just a car and im gonna build it the way i want to.

  24. cool looking car mate. improved outta sight already with the wheels and lowering. what other plans you got for it?

Well all the trim and emblems gotta go.
Later when i find some good door poppers i will get rid of the door handles to.
A friend of mine is going to paint the roof for me,he has a body/paint shop so i gave him free hands to do whatever he wants to.
I guess it will be wild :D

I also have some ordinary problems like the dash lights, fuel gage doesent work. Well you know, stuff like that.

    So its an easy project.

That's nice. I like the mods you've done so far. What's your painter thinking for the roof? There's a 62 Windsor around here I've got my eye on.

Had a strange sound from the rear.
Only come up sometimes when i accellerated and turned left.
Got under the car and spotted this, easy fix.
But i think i will have to raise the floor to prevent the drive shaft from hitting the floor sometimes.
