Today I went on an adventure and wanted to share my findings. I am just getting into photography and why not shoot what I love! Any help identifying these cars would be greatly appreciated. I am hooked and want to find and photograph more. I do not own any of this stuff and at this time I don't know if any of it is for sale. I will go back and edit posts as people help identify cars.
You take great pics. Im needing the Packard hood emblem, hub caps and stainless model A grill shell, if the owner wants to part with them......hehe.
you dont know if anything is for sale, thats fine, but... did you have permission to be there? just poking around and shooting photos might lead the guy to telling you to go spit, and he wont sell you, or anyone you know, anything... or worse. cool photos, and i dig em completely, but when i see threads like this, they make me wince
WOW, what a shame- there are some REALLY nice cars there that have gone wo waste! This Packard is either a '36 or '37 full-sized Eight or Super Eight. There are lots of good parts still left on it that would make a Packard guy VERY happy to have!
I mad permission to be there. I know who owns the cars and they may all be for sale soon. I hope I can help save as much as possible.
That is the car I would choose out of them all. I also think the 38 Zephyr might be save-able. I like the 54 Chevy in your avatar. My dad and I are building one right now.
The convert appears to be a 47-48 ford. The Lincoln 4-door has a 49 rear window and 50 door handles. Hmm. Wow, are those cars rusty. Lots of good parts.
Good job, SPeters. I'm blown away. Stuff like that here in Ohio is in FAR worse shape, sitting outside. These two locations are in Connecticut???
