I'm a little slow getting these up, but thought I would share some pictures from the 2011 Model A Pancake Breakfast in Orange, CA this year. Once again, a great show for anyone who appreciates early tin in all states of being. Even with the little bit of rain we got there was still a nice turnout!

Pancakes, Stockers, Restos, hopped up bangers, hot rods, and a big ass river going right through the middle of it all! HAHA!

    Enjoy....

    Respect to the gray beards!

Not too many people had a problem with just driving right through the steady flow of water, rushing through the middle of the wash...

This conversion was awesome! Completely left in-tact and was driven to the show, even! Guy said it had been in a couple movies...

The "river" sort of complicated things, but people found a way across...

Stockers, restos, blah, blah, blah... There were PLENTY of cool modifieds and hot rods there as well! Lots of crazy hopped up bangers, especially!

Crazydaddyo's Pop's truck was REALLY well done!!

    Crazydaddyo's RPU

Also, this is a sweet little RPU modified I hadn't seen before. Belongs to a HAMBer, Bodger45. Really well done!

    Nice shoebox!

This was once a HAMBer's car too. Not sure who it belongs to now, but I LOVE it!

Bad Bob made a special appearance...

Quite a few hot rods that I simply just didn't get to because by the time I got to the other side of the "river" they had taken off. But really some great stuff.

Thanks Scootie Tang! Awesome pics and event!

Can I just say that it's a goal of mine to restore an ALL BLACK Model A (30-31) Pickup one day. I think this is just about one of the coolest vehicles that Ford designed and is probably the only one that I wouldn't touch except maybe put a some 16" wheels on like this one....and maybe a flathead. Ok that's not really restoring but I like them bone stockers too! They are just incredible looking pieces of machinery.

Great Pictures thank you for sharing. There are so many subtle things on these cars.
You can spend hours looking at the detail.

    This is a HAMBer's also....

This '32 Tudor was just super clean!

Every time I go to this show I leave wanting a stock Model A. Just the sound, nestalgia, etc. of these cars. I really appreciate them and the level of craftsmanship that existed during this period! Respect!

That old blue road trip coupe with the truck bed is the best thing ive seen in a long time.

    My daily is a E-350 4x4 van...overloaded with necessaties.

Just set it up and dialed it in for the road...hauling, camping, fishing, dogs, car shows.

Im jealous of that guy...he is my leader.

    Thanks for the coverage Scoot.

I am dedicated to traditional rods and classic old school customs, but these awesome cars m ake my blood boil with excitement. What a selection of sweet machines. The rain is almost a cool addition for the viewer anyway, probably a pain in the butt for the participants. But looks to me like everyone is having a genuine blast. Damn those pancakes look very inviting right now. Thanks for the woderful post. ~sololobo~

  20. Wow that's awesome.

(look at all that good hot rod material. :D )

Glad you guys like the pics! Such a great gathering! Was great seeing some of the REALLY nice A's just plowing right on through that water like it was no big deal. Just the way it should be!

Still is, or at least it is AGAIN, if it wasn't when you sold it. I think his HAMB handle is hellbound something or another. Can't remember. His name is Rob and does a little Pamphlet magazine called "the Lot". Very cool little truck!

If you would have tried that in yours you would have needed a Snorkel!

  25. The car belongs to Rob's (Hellboundgasser) friend Brian. Not sure if Brian is on the HAMB or not.
