Sorry to hear the news of your grandfather's death. Sounds like he was a fascinating man from whom you learned a lot.

 

Sounds like a cool guy. Be sure and let his friends and other family members know what he meant to you. I hope that I am making memories like that for my kids and grandkids. Tom

 

My dad passed in late 08. He had several cars but my mom kept only the 40 Ford sedan. It's the one he was always working on when I was growing up. I'll always remember how, on the weekends, we'd all pile in and head to Zesto's, get some ice cream and cruise the blvd. I thought we were the coolest thing on 4 wheels. I hope we never have to get rid of it. I'd like to get it back on the road someday.
