cgascompression - Judging by all the LSRU picture threads here on the H.A.M.B., I completely agree with your statement that it was an "Awesome show". That said, I never quite understood folks fascination with knowing how many cars were at a car show ... but that's probably because I'm "a quality over quantity" kind of guy ... the only reason I'd ever care how many cars were at the LSRU would be if I worked for the Texas Comptroller's office or for the I.R.S. ... and was auditing the show promoters (The Kontinentals) .
I am neither, I do not work for the Texas Comptroller's office or the IRS but I am always interested to hear what the car count is at shows. I also agree that quality over quantity makes for a better show but it is the journey to and from for me.
If I have to travel a great distance for any show I want to make sure there are going to be a lot of cars there. Car count is the biggest factor in deciding to go to a show or not (for me anyways). Now I am not talking about an exact number but within 50 or a 100 is accurate enough.
