Plan on leaving wensday going to the swap meet in charolette thursday and friday plan on being in fla by sat morning. Did I say I was leaving from nyc 18 hours

 

This is going to be the longest 4 day week at work Sonny, I will be looking you up, love your work!!

Gettin' the itch!! I will be down Thursday thru Saturday at the host hotel. Stop by the Red Oxide 55 Chevy Pick-up in the parkin' lot and have a Stag! See yall there!!

 

I will be at the Holiday Inn Friday around noon,is that where you are staying?

 

Anyone know if there is a planned pre-party (or after) like last year?
If not I guess we'll make one happen in the Ho day inn parking lot?

 

It's my understanding that we all are just going to party at the Holiday Inn Express. It's much safer ya know, no drinking and driving.....

 

Got to agree with AHotRod,the parking lot gathering is always a good time and you dont have to worry about driving,parking or having your ride towed ,remember, we are going to be in Gainsville. 3 days to go,everybody ready?

I'm gonna go with "I think so". Just because I know my luck and if I say Hell Yeah I'm ready...... Something else is just about guaranteed to break down on me.

 

I think we are ready... going over the check list one last time and packing everything. Just a few last emails to send and a couple of phone calls to answer.

My engine parts are here so it looks like my truck will be there!

Well I made it to GA, we are in the process of lowering the front of my truck, then ill be doing valve cover gaskets and snugging my header bolts and collecter bolts.

I only broke down once in 500 miles, driving on the highway and all my electric dies. Checked for loose conections and found none, got a jump and all is good. I'm going to clean all my grounds and hope for the best.

 

bring those valve covers,I can use those,thanks in advance. See ya Friday?

Oh yes, for my niece Sydne... a '94 Mopar 318 will be run at full throttle without oil or water until the inevitable happens... Catastrophic failure.

Florida PoorBoy "Big" Mike Domke's 15year old neice, Sydne Mushaben, has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and is currently undergoing treatment. Sydne is a cheerleader, softball palyer and National Honor Student at her high school. Her care is racking up the bills so we are going to help out. How? We'll scrounge up an old and busted junkyard engine, drain the water and oil out of it, start it up and guess how long it takes to go KABOOM at Billetproof Florida!
