Model A body part, what's it called.

    Square tube under trunk lid & panel. Wraps around to attach at the inner fender panels where a square recess is located. Model A Coupe, 1930.
    This thing has to have a name, what's it called.

    Sounds like the rear subframe.

    Has two threaded holes for the spare tire bracket? I call it the rear subframe crossmember. Brookville makes them new, I'll find my cataloge and get back to you if they call it something different.

    Got it. Rear sub frame. $185.00 most places. Anyone have a good one to sell ?

    HI ;
    rear sub/ cross rail..

    You can take one from a 2 door sedan and reshape the round ends to fit a coupe or roadster

    They are made out of two pieces, the inner one rusts before the outer one. Coupe/Roadster are different from other body types. Repop may be quicker way to go if you can't find an original. :)
