Dirty Surf Wagon Build

    Bought this wagon at Kumeu Hot rod show in January
    Its a 1970 VG Valiant with stock matching numbers 318 v8
    over the last few months have been fixn it up to get it ready for Beach Hop

    First we rub'd the paint back to get rid of the touch up from over the years and bring out a bit of a patina look

    Then we gave her a tune up and rebuilt the 2barrel carter carby and chuckd some points, condeser, cap, leads. plugs and elec fuel pump. recored radiator, genie headers

    Found some old wheels aparently old standerd barracuda wheels??
    Got them blasted an gave them a squirt of alloy silver paint and wrap'd them in white walls

    1970? That's a bit on the "too new" side of things for here...

    Nice work bringing her back to life...And the RH drive made me dizzy looking under the hood...like a reversed photo but some things like the carb linkage and rad hose are on the same side for both ....
