can i ask about goodguys del mar show?

hey all

im traveling over to cali from england next week , i notice theres a goodguys show on in del mar

is it worth a visit ? good mix of all kinds of cars ? any trade stands?

 

I haven't been to the one in Del Mar but I go every year to the Heartland Nationals in Des Moines, IA. I really like the Goodguys shows, it's not all gonna be traditional stuff however but the shows are big. There's always been a good mix of stuff at the shows I've been to. I say check it out, I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy yourself.

 

Well worth the time, a great venue, and the most woodies you'll ever see in one place. Beautiful area. Enjoy and bring your camera.

Good Guys Puts on the best large shows. It will have everything you would want to see from 72 on back. Have agood time.

It's a BIG event with a lot of pretty much everything. The swap is small, but the AutoCross is worth the price of admission. Thousands of cars and the fairgrounds is only a few hundred yards from the beach.

Weather forecast is STELLAR!

 

I've been to everyone - 11 years - it's a great show. Swap is small but the vendor area is Huge. Wide variety of cars from Traditional to High $$ and everything in between. Afterwords head up the coast to your final destination for some real nice SO Cal driving.

 

Well.... close. Actually the National Woodie Club's "Wavecrest" show in late September a few miles up the coast highway in Encinitas has the most woodies you'll ever see in one place, but the Del Mar show certainly has more than an abundance of them.... You will enjoy it. I promise.

 

And don't forget the season opening Escondido Cruisin' Grand cruise Friday night - about 20 miles drive from Del Mar, and while you're there also about 20 miles away is the La Jolla Concours D'elegance on Sunday if that is your cup of Typhoo....

I would go for sure, but I am in Austin for a wedding this weekend. Happens to be there is a little show here also.

nice event, great location, I like the town.

 

I will be there on Friday and Saturday showing the 28'. They do let you run uncorked on the cruising strip which is something that I am itching to do.

 

Its a great show well worth if and it has some awesome rides. The weather is always great, better than that shitty English weather. I never miss it , I will be cruising the shoebox on Saturday

This a killer show and probably one of the best locations you can find.I have always liked this show,so yes of coarse you should ask about it.

 

Im going on friday, its my last day in CA and ill be able to hit it. Im excited!

 

I'll be there Saturday. I used to always go to the Pleasanton CA show and the swap was awesome. It will be my first Del Mar show.

I'll be there saturday. Yes do get over to Escondido for the cruise night. Quite the scene usually wall to wall cars.
The La Jolla show sunday is a bit pricey but the cars that are pulled out of museums for this event are stunning.
