oh man im so excited. My squadron is leaving CA on saturday, and then Im checking out on leave on tuesday and driving down. Ill be down early hopefully pre partying it up.

Painted the truck and got it looking juuuust the way I wanted..... And the distributor went . Replaced it. And the fuel pump went. Replacing that tonight. The moral of my story? I CAN NOT WAIT for that first beer next Friday night in Gainesville! I'm tired.

 

its south of the fairgrounds on Waldo Road, on the west side of the road. When I was there last it was painted BRIGHT yellow and red. Reeeeeeeaaaaaalllll hard to miss. There are a couple of other "Crab Shacks" in town... but you want the real deal... Crab Shack II...

I HIGHLY recommend the "1/2 order Neck Bone" and some hush puppies. Its like hooking up a garlic and butter I.V. drip with some beef neck, fat and bone thrown in for flavor. Dont forget to sop up all the buttery goodness with some fried corn meal dough. Now thats goooooood eatin.

 

Oh my God, it's a good thing Shands Hospital is close by.

 

Hmmmm.... Supposed to be in Leesburg for the Motorcycle Rally, maybe I'll get "Side-Tracked".

 

Ok so I was only able to gather up about 25 spots behind Durty Nellys, so I guess first come on free parking downtown gville, hollowbody hellraisers play around 11, there will be a jamesons promo "free drinks" around 11:30-1:00.. if you're hanging out early downtown and want some good beer "no bud/miller/coors" come down to stubbies and Steins just 2 blocks east of Nellys.. ill be working til 10ish.. so come in for a pint

had a false alarm yesterday...adjusted the valves and the motor was tapping like crazy! but got it sorted out so...whheewww. drive on!!

 

my wife thinks i cant drive from south fla to gainesville [5 hrs late model truck] go to billetproof, hang out and drive home???? am i crazy????

 

If you leave at Fishing o'Clock in the AM, I don't see a problem doing the whole show and being home before midnight...

 

That's not crazy. Five hours in a late model with all the comforts, no problem. Come on!
