It was only 4 degrees this morning when we left Antigo. This is what is left from the blizzard last Monday. Ready to hit the road. 100 miles south and still snow on the ground. Some turkey hit a guard rail with the side of his car. At least the snow is gone. We are now in Savoy Il. just outside of Champaign Il. Tomorrow Memphis, Graceland, Sun Records, the Peabody, Beal Street, Blues and Memphis style ribs. Dinner with our Bud Brandon from GG's. More tomorrow. BB & Maggie

What a morning, Maggie left her purse here last night so our 7am departure time went down the drain. We tried the owners with no success but went down there and got the number of the alarm service and they called Casey the manager who talked to us about the car last night and he came down and we got her purse back intact. Whew!!!! Snow in southern Illinois in March and cold too. Hit the big 117,000 on the way Memphis from the Bridge over the Mighty Mississippi. More later. BB

Hope the leaks have stopped! I noticed after you left there was about a half dollar size oil spot on the floor about where the rear of the engine would have been when you were parked in the garage. I didn't see it until you were gone. Safe travels. Charlie

Here are the WORLD FAMOUS ducks in the fountian at the PEABODY HOTEL in Memphis, they stay in this fountian all day and at 5pm the march on a red carpet to their elevator and their little duck pad on the roof. Hokey yeah, but kinda cute. Blue City Grill, Memphis style dry rubbed ribs, MMMMMMMM Silky Sullivans, home of the dueling grand pianos, good music, funny entertainers, definetly adult rated. Wonder how they let us in there. Maggie & "HEMI" HAMBING it up for the camera after 2 many beers. Today GraceLand, Sun Records and then headed SW. Should be in Austin Wednsday afternoon. BB & Maggie
