    Thanks for photos Mazooma

  8. I"d seal those clothes up in a plastic bag until the fresh smell of the dragstrip couldn't be smelled any longer. Nice photos, you still do a good job at it !

  9. Thanks Doug....almost felt as though I was standing next to you, watching the cars.

a lowly Nikon D80.....it's far from a terrific camera but that what I'm stuck with for now. I don't want to invest in anything new until I can get better results with this one. A more expensive camera won't do me any good until I can master this one.
Maybe by the end of summer or so...we'll see how I can progress.
I'm still transitioning from film to digital, a journey that's been pretty rocky thus far. :(

Thanks for posting all the pics.
We qualified last weekend in C/Gas (9.60 index) with a 9.66 but could not stay around for the make up date this weekend.

  24. I doubt you'll have any trouble making the transition, you've got the "eye" for it. Of course I'm thinking you could show up with a box of crayons and come home with great pics! :D

Thanx for sharing the photos. I put in my earplugs just to look at them, for old times sake.

So Doug- how did you like shooting the rail?
I was there last weekend- except I hit snow & 60 mph gusts coming home!
