The wife works at a local winery, this thing has been parked out there for a few years...too bad it doesn't run, it would make a coolride to put around the winery
yet two make you go. If that was my winery i would demand it run and it drives it around the place for some purpose.
the batteries are in a box under the body behind the running board. it only looks like it's on the running board.
friend of mine has one that could be the twin to this one. i keep it running for him and i put more miles on it a year than he does. i love driving it.
lol! Gotta love the T's...just for that reason! They take a little getting use to, but they are a blast to drive!
yes go volunteer to restore it for them then offer to wear a uniform an drive it around for free advertisement , it looks pretty cool
There's a cool old 1926 Chevy truck at a winery near me out in Aviston, IL. It's a shame they don't drive it either.
you ever forget the lever is in high and hit the "clutch" to stop? it fools you into thinking it's stopping but it won't so you let off and it takes off. .
That is something I have never actually done. My '26 does not have the High-Neutral-Ebrake lever. I removed it and use my left foot as its replacement. Come to a stop, hold the clutch half way down
The first Model "T" that I ever drove, I pulled into the driveway and when I pushed the "clutch" pedal down, I pushed a little too far and when it jumped into "low" I just about smashed into my house.
My daughter drove my 1912 T before the training wheels came off her bicycle. Then she had me drive it to school for Show & Tell in the first grade.
