I am building a 1950 Dodge and I am wondering how I can change the front brake drum assembly to disk brakes or even just different drums that have studs, I would like to keep the original suspension in front but 4 link the rear. Any ideas?? I cant seem to find a crossmember that fits my car for a Mustang II suspension.
    Thanks for your help.

    Check out www.P15-D24.com.
I have Plydo kit on my 52 dodge, but there are several others available.

Welcome to the HAMB. Give us a little better intro here, and ask your questions on the general discussion board. The Ply looks good.

    Hello from Ohio,

I put disk brakes on my 41. First off stay far away from Plydo, just look at there return policy thats if you can get ahold of them, its hit or miss.

I used Brake Tech solutions in Charlotte NC. Nice folks, I sent them my spindles, they called me when they recieved them, they called through out the machining process, and they called me when they shipped them back and gave me the routing number. I used and ECI Bellcrank set up and corvette master cylinder and proportioning valve. If you keep the master cylinder in the stock place, you will need a residual valve, Brake tech will help you with that. I would use Brake Tech again no questions. I have dealt with plydo, its difficult.

Look up Stop drop and roll from fatman fab, I used their dropped uprights,

Tankwilson has a thread on here of his conversion.
