Roadster stolen at Pomona

This thread needs to be always at top next to the auctions...let's not forget about the roadster and our need to have closure on the subject!

 

I always hate to hear a '32 was stolen..........and a nice one at that!

Everyone that attends swap meets should make themselves familiar with the unique parts on this car and keep their eyes open. Watching Craigslist as was mentioned before is also a good idea.I hope something surfaces soon.

I know this may not be the major factor at this point, but it might help others to explain what your insurance situation is and how it should play out if you're unable to recover the car.

that really sucks been that long and still no word. must have been pros to keep it this long. I hope your insure will cover everything and plus more i am so getting lojack for my ride when it is done plus some other goodies

i feel for you chick,if in ever comes through anywhere near my hometown in ohio i will report that right away. bet these guys are just sittin on it somewhere cause of all the people looking for it. these guys deserve the worst

 

If the folks who stole it are savy and are doing their homework to search for possible places to dump the parts or the car, I hope they come across this and figure out that the space or trailer or garage they are storing the car in is costing them time or money, and being that the car is unique and recognizable (sp?) will make it necessary to seperate all the parts. It would be best for them to swing by the parking lot where they took it and just drop it off the same way they rolled it out, quietly and go away. They will feel gooey and good inside, and isn't that the way everyone wants to feel. They will know (all to themselves) that they made a couple of thousand people super happy! when we read that it was recovered complete.

Are you reading this thieves? Do the right thing. Bring it back please.

 

Unfortunately these crooks are slick, spiriting one of the most outstanding rods in creation into thin air is no easy feat. My guess is that the car was stolen to order and is in a private collection overseas or in parts by now.

I'd love to see it back where it belongs.
