Rain out date is next Saturday June 11, same place same time.

I can drive my roadster in the rain, but I know alot of you guys cannot.

So since it looks like we are going to get over an inch of rain on this Saturday June 4th,

We will be moving the run one week forward to June 11.

Please let me know if you want to go in the rain, and I will be happy to lead a run on June 4th. I will probably still be there in the morning for anyone that didn't get the message.

If you know anyone going please spread the word.

Lets hope the next week is dryer.

Meeting at 7:30 am, leave by 8:00 am, from the:
    Twin Oaks Tavern
    5745 Old Redwood Hwy
    Penngrove, CA

    Carry on.

I am helping to spread the word for an up coming run put on by the Nor Cal Roadsters

I hope that explains it enough.
Oh, I forgot, this event is FREE, you don't have to pay for the run, or the coffee & donuts.

You just pay for your own food, drinks, and gas, which will cost enough these days.
But at least you will get your money's worth. ;)

Here are some of the cars in the Nor Cal Roadster Club so you get the idea of what we are talking about. All of these cars are owner built.

This roadster below got sold, so we will see if the owner will let someone take it on the run,

I think we are going to start in Penngrove, CA

Let one of us know you want to go so we can get a head count.

Oh and I have a coupe too, so I know about the chickens ;)

This run is the very BEST Nor Cal has to offer, cool people, beautiful roads, and all the cars are killer...
    Thanks Redbeard!

Just so there is no confusion.

Those pictures above are from a different run that I put on in September which is for 1940 and earlier cars and trucks and is open to all motors.

It will be just as much fun, just imagine the above photos with only open cars. :)

    Cheers

I would imagine that some of the rigs will definitely be put to the test;)

But most everyone made it before, isn't it part of the fun?

    I heard about that '27.

What all does it need to be road worthy?

Pretty much everything. It's just a rolling chassis right now. Don is assembling the engine. The body panels have been painted, although the guy that sprayed it did a horrendous job. Nothing but orange peel and uneven coverage. I've never painted a car and could have done a better job. I have pics in my profile of it.

  26. Pro-Mac,
It was nice talking to you also, I sure wish you could make it this year. Your Pop's old roadster, is just plain Bitchen, get it running you have time.....Ed

    Hey Tim,

I guess you scared everyone off with your horror stories ;)

As it says on the flier, this is not a Sunday cruise at parade speeds. You can go what ever speed you want, and while it is not a race, some folks enjoy really driving our hot rods.
