    Hello Everybody,
Just wanted to introduce myself, My name is Joe and I am an addict.
I have always enjoyed taking things apart and putting 'em back together, started at a young age with my Dad's lawn equipment.
Being born and raised in the Detroit area, the sound of a Hot Rod gets my blood pumping! Spent many cold late nights working on a project to go play the next day. It's been too long since I had a toy so my recent purchase and current project is a 1949 Ford F1 (239 V8, 3 spd).
From what I've seen so far, the articles and projects shared on the HAMB are great! Looking forward to getting to know ya!
    Take care,
    Joe

Welcome from Blairsville Ga. The old F-1 looks pretty good.

  4. Welcome from Rockmart! Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup and Ozelle the '55 Ford send friendly horn honks. Always liked the F-1s, especially the '48-'50 version. Cruise-in at Dallas (downtown around the old courthouse) starts next Saturday night, 4th Saturday of month. Cartersville cruise is first Saturday, Rockmart is 2nd Saturday, Cedartown cruise is 4th Friday of month. Come on over and look for Henrietta, I'll be close by.

Hey Joe! Welcome to the HAMB!

That's a cool '49 you picked up. You can find "truck" loads of info and ideas on here. What's in the works for pick-up?

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!
I will have to head out to some of these local gatherings soon, thanks for the invite.
No big changes planned, just taking her down to the frame, few bits of sheet metal to replace, stripping and painting, complete new harness coming (from R.I. Wiring Svc), new interior panels and seat cover just arrived, some new side and quarter windows, and all the other goodies that go along with it...

Welcome Broskinny, are you near Fayetteville, or Jonesboro Fairburn Area ?

Ive seen that truck in a driveway, we were filming a movie at a Church just down the street from you !

One day it had a front end, drove past a few days later and it was gone

    Enjoy the HAMB !

Welcome to the Hamb from Alabama, nice little F1 you've got there. I'm also a transplant from the North country, could use alittle of that cool country lately in these parts!
