Hello Everybody, Just wanted to introduce myself, My name is Joe and I am an addict. I have always enjoyed taking things apart and putting 'em back together, started at a young age with my Dad's lawn equipment. Being born and raised in the Detroit area, the sound of a Hot Rod gets my blood pumping! Spent many cold late nights working on a project to go play the next day. It's been too long since I had a toy so my recent purchase and current project is a 1949 Ford F1 (239 V8, 3 spd). From what I've seen so far, the articles and projects shared on the HAMB are great! Looking forward to getting to know ya! Take care, Joe
Here is a more recent shot from last weekend. Engine is now out and cab is waiting to be lifted off. Got to get worse before it get's better!
Welcome from Rockmart! Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup and Ozelle the '55 Ford send friendly horn honks. Always liked the F-1s, especially the '48-'50 version. Cruise-in at Dallas (downtown around the old courthouse) starts next Saturday night, 4th Saturday of month. Cartersville cruise is first Saturday, Rockmart is 2nd Saturday, Cedartown cruise is 4th Friday of month. Come on over and look for Henrietta, I'll be close by.
