Is that the “Lightning Bug” (the pre-Kookie Grabowski T)? I sure do like that top and windshield. Any clue how much it was chopped, and if the top still folds?

  7. Looks like people didn't revere old hot rods back in the 60's... Tommy Ivo's T, painted... and in a Magazine and no mention of the original builder.

Lotta cool T's on this thread though!

Is that Clint Eastwood? Seriously, I know I've seen a picture a lot like this one that purports to be Clint Eastwood in about 1944.

That would have made Clint 13 or 14 years old. He was born in '30.

I still don’t know the date, though.

Okay, a little more digging indicates the picture is from 1945 or ‘46:

    See here.

Hey, Flat Power!......I wouldn't mind seeing a few detail pics of those roof frames and hinges, if you have any.

    Thanks.....Roger

Some pics of my old car. Originally built in '65 as a race car and titled in '67 for street use.

Sold it to a friend a couple of years ago.

Drive it anywhere and it runs 11.20 all day long at the track.

Nothing fancy, just a fun car.

Here are a few T's I encountered on my way to, and at Bonn. early in the century. The Tardell flathead record breaking 27 T riadster. Yes that is Vern clowning on "the loneliest road in America".
And I warned you if nobody else kept this thread going you would have to look at another picture of my car.

Cool T man, it has the exact profile I'm shooting for with mine. Show us LOTS more pics!

I've not seen or heard about it down here in New Zealand .

    Cheers
