Took my first drive of this year in my 48 coupe this morning. Prediction is for 2-4 inches of snow tomorrow so thought I'd better get a drive in while the roads are clear. Nice ride up the newly paved interstate to Augusta and back. Brilliant sunshine ( 30 degrees ), absolutely no traffic, and wide open highway. Life is good !

Should have got that on video or something! Cool that you got to enjoy your ride.

Remind me never to move to Maine, too cold!

Hope you stopped at Damon's (or Whipper's in East Augusta) for a Tuna Italian!!!

I think I remember seeing your '48 a couple of years ago at a little show on Rte. 126
(Cobbessee/ Lewiston Rd.) in or near Gardiner. What a great looking coupe! That 350/290 crate motor looked right at home.

It was probably at Ainsle's Market on Rt 201 in Gardiner. ( Rt 126 is nearby ). I go there once in a while to their Cruise-in on Thursday nights.
And thanks , I really appreciate the compliment about my coupe. John

Yes. In fact if you go to Google maps and look at the street view they're
    having the car show.

Great looking coupe, and a nice clean build.

Maybe I'll see you when enroute to Bar Harbor in July.
