Hot Rods Traditional term for this?

Is there a name for this, where the front wheels are way out in front of the radiator? Googled but cant find anything.

I thought suicide was mounting the spring behind the axle, with the hangers atached to the bones???

Suicide OR Bulldog perch means there are no frame horns to catch on the axle if the spring breaks

I was always under the impression that a suicide axle is any axle mounted in a fashion where if the spring breaks, the frame will not catch on the axle and will hit the ground. I think a lot of T buckets are set up like that. But if I'm right, then frame horns would be a deciding factor.

The altered wheelbase like the car above doesn't necessarily have to have a suicide mounted axle I don't think.

 

Suicide is any form of mounting the axle so as if whatever is supporting the weight were to fail the frame would end up on the ground and not on the axle resulting in no braking or steering control.
