I'm stuck between 2 trucks thrashing right now. Willies 46 Ford is almost in final prime and Roosters 64 Ford is almost back on the ground and ready to wire and plumb...

Hope I survive till the show, wouldn't want to miss out.

Almost there........ I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.

 

Just went through all the bolts on my suspension on my Ford yesterday... things loosen up after 3 years... New tires don't wobble, No more clunking, 80 mph over the Howard Frankland with one hand on the wheel! Also widened the hole where the barke bedal comes through the floorboards, no horrible metal scraping metal squeal when I step on the brake... Tonights agenda is the bottom rear seat cushion...

 

Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Last year was a blast even with the rain.

 

Im going. Ive been looking forward to it. I just wish i would of gottin off my toosh to get my car done in time. Its still sitting in my garage. I did take off the carb and rebuild it though.

 

Can't wait!! Looks like im driving the daily again,a few issues still keeping me from being road trip ready at this time,no wait,maybe I'll put it on a trailer............not!!!
Looking forward to seeing everybody again.

 

The last word I got is that we are leaving CA on the 4th. Ill be checking out on leave and driving down on the 5th hopefully. I can't wait!

OT sorry, but is any body driving to this billetproof from Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin. I need to get a rolling chassis back to Chicago. Tow bar would be fine

Anybody down that way know anything good or bad about Millers Alehouse? Looking for a good place to have a bite and beverage thats close to the room

 

I'm not famous but I will be driving in from nyc. Does that qualify as a special guest

 

There is one around here in Sarasota. In fact, most major cities in FL. I go there every month to watch the UFC fights with my buds. They have good food (Mostly American/Bar food, seafood, sort-of upscale international dishes) but I think it is a little on the expensive side. I definitely reccommend it though

 

We've got an "Ale House" in every little municipality down here. They're all pretty much typical sports bars, not bad. They've all got the same beer and as for food/price, think Chili's/TGIFriday's/any other similar chain and you're pretty much there.

 

Gainesville eateries worth checking:

Satchel's Pizza; either Sonny's; NW Grille (39th Ave & 51st) -- great seafood; The Yearling -- south to Micanopy, east to Cross Creek (great taste of Old Florida food); Burrito Brothers on University opposite the campus; The Swamp on University opposite the campus; Ballyhoo's on West Newberry; La Fiest Mexican -- at NW 39th and I-75;
