    for the last 6 months i been building a altered wheelbase car
    64 fury.

    lot of people do the 65 belv, i wanted alittle change so i went with the 64 fury hard top. like the lines better.

    Love the 64 plymouth my current project is a 64 also. my wheel base is moved 4 inches forward only. The long ram manifold is a nice touch also.

    That would be as in Dick Landy?

    Also, I dont think that the long cross ram manifold was offered on a 426 wedge. As I recall, difficult at my age, the last year that manifold was offered was in 1961 on the 413.
    And yes, it did work, low end torque was great. That long ram manifold is now very spendy... you are lucky to have one.:D
     
  20. Nice body style, and those crossrams are wicked looking. For sure I'd be using a hydraulic cam in that one, can't imagine setting the lash with those in the way. Looks awesome.

    i see alot of hemi cars, but i wanted to play with this long ram. bought them from a old buddy for $300 bucks. so the whole motor combo is built around the rams.

    we moved the rear 15 inch and the front axle is a a100 . and is moved 10 inch. motor is moved 6 inch back into firewall. all solid mounts. with fenderwell header. front springs are offroad jeep springs with 2 tractor leafs added to each pack.

    trans is a 727 with 3500 stall. and new valve body

    i did 15 inch in rear. used a ford 9 inch cuz i had on laying around. later plan to put a dana 60 in it.
