if dudes are building bodies from scratch or turning 4 dr sedans into really nice cover quality coupes, I am rather certain this could be saved. I've seen a lot worse. now that said, if this car was forsale on craigslist it would say "2 dr nomad chevy station wagon, very solid, would make a helluva rat rod!!! Asking 10,000 man these things are rare! will trade for a harley heritage soft tail or a s-10 with a small block in it!" they always say some stupid shit like 2dr nomad? or my favorite that I have seen was a guy selling a 2 dr Mustang... really? as opposed to that 4dr mustang??? wtf?
That's a Nomad guys- looks like a 56. Other than the missing A pillars- I don't see the problem. Shit- it even has the frame & the rear fold down seat. I've seen much worse drug out of the the dirt right here on the HAMB. Lots of replacement panels repopped for that. Only downside I can see is the Vin was attached to those now missing A pillars.
That would fit right in with My model T truck...and my 2006 screamin eagle that's burnt to a crisp. Can you say "YARD ART"
Mine was worse and I fixed it....LOL Here is the proof. Notice no floors either! Aaaaand after... I've even still got the A pillars from my more door I could use to fix those.... Wheres the phone number, I love me some nomad! hahha Scot
fors sale 56 nomad needs a few easy to get parts, simple resto great father and son project if i found it and it could be had for a couple hundred id bring it home the missing "A" pillars with the VIN would worry me a bit though
OK color me foolish. If that one had doors I want it. No one could get mad at me for hacking that nomad and I've always wantwed to find an affordable Nomad to hack. So all original "rare" Chevrolet Nomad wagon. Low miles barley driven. Make the missus happy.
