Very cool, the dog staring at it cracks me up :). Question about radiator. Is that a 21" and who's the maker.

28" tank end to tank end.Its a Summit (china) brand. ProShop price was
    124.00
I have the same radiator in my '67.Keeps the car plenty cool running mid 9's on N20.
I hope it will be enough for the 496. I understand that they make a lot of heat with the huffer.

My vintage Weiand manifold came today. Got it on E-bay. Pretty resonable.Ive seen them go for around 400-500 bucks for the vintage ones. I got it for 275.

^^^^^^ Thats a cool looking setup. You said your injector was converted to efi, how did they do that?

The injector bosses are machined for an electronic injector and the fuel rail for them is mounted to the body.
The aluminum block that you see, would have been where the square barrel valve would have mounted. But instead of a barrel valve, there is a TPS.(Throttle Position sensor).
I have a buddy that does EFI for high horsepower turbo cars. He is going to help with the F.A.S.T. electronics and programming when I get to that stage.

Thanks, while I like traditional stuff I can definitely see the advantage of the efi conversion, best of both worlds. Looking forward to a video of the car at the strip.

Took the new parts over to the custom shop today.Just because I had to know if they would fit. I originally cut out the upper notch for a tunnel ram.
I'll have to widen the knotch about an inch on both sides, but otherwise, it fits well.

Since the car is still at the custom shop. I piddled around a little bit in the shop.
I "fixed" a bad crack in the Hurst case with some fiberglass, washed it up and gave it a "rattle can resto"

Then I blew the flanges off the boat headers.Suprised how easily they came off.

    Treeserv,Love you yellow II.Great car.
Do you leave off a transbrake?
On the hit, once the wheelie bars make contact, does it veer left or right?
Before I paint the rear axle,I need to decide weather or not to add modern wheelie bars.
    Thanx,
    Brandon

NO I FOOT BRAKE AND THE CAR STAYS IN LINE BUT I RUN MID 11s. IT LOOKS LIKE YOU WILL BE RUNNING MUCH FASTER THEN THAT. NO ONE WILL SEE THE BRACKETS ON THE REAR, GOOD LUCK.

That is a great looking ride. I can appreciate all of the hard work and lots and lots of hours. I'm building a 64 GTO straight axle car and have a thread going here on the Hamb, but it's no where near the level of your build. Keep up the good work and keep the pictures coming. Dil

lookin good, we did a blown injected hilborn efi on a 55 , had trouble with the tpi, found out they have it built in italy for them no other will work in its place. and we had to blank off some of the air flow in the hat for it to work off of idle. good luck lookin bad ass

Don't puss out with the modern wheelie bars. The attached picture is how it should launch no matter who is driving it. :D

Finally had some time to play with the AWB.
I built the chute anchor, put in frame sub structure for the tin and built the sides of the wheel tubbs. This was my first time playing with a bead roller,so theres a little bit of a learning curve.
Put in a shot of the battery tray too,I built that a while ago.
