I cant quote an accurate performance number, but the car ventured into the high 7.20's and broke 200 with regularity.

Thanks for digging up all the shots from Tulsa.
The Phillips 66 station is the only structure that is still standing from the old days.

Yo Baby re picture 25374. I think that is a Herbert injector. Not very many were made. They fed fuel thru the butterfly shaft if I recall. The mixture was pre set changeable by drilling out a jet. Amazing that they even ran.

One of my later partners had one on a blown BBC gas dragster. We blew up our BBC and borrowed his motor. Unfortunately the clutch blew up and cut the car in half on the very next run. It also took out the rear cyls of his motor. Since we couldn't afford to replace the block he became another partner. LOL

We then did a commonly stupid thing racers back then did.....we all 3 went and took out loans and built a new car, new everything. Sadly ROTFLOAO.

When Muttley is amped up you only need to be gone overnight to find a bunch of new pages.

  30. Thanks WCD, stout numbers for sure..

Thanks also to Brash.. saw a nice green HQ and a red LX passing thru Salisbury on trailers, wanted to go up !
The FC looks so hot, like a 50's Nova! Details?
Is that Jeff During in the beautiful slingshot? right colours, could be a small block Mopar there. Fantastic competitor, deserves more feature space in this here thread.
