Its an odd way to be, to know just what its like over there, know you have the ability to help but, and at the same time feeling that fear that you don't want to go there but knowing you wouldn't hesitate to go. Been in this situation before, Japan has the best earthquake response on the planet. I wonder if we will be asked for help? Doc
Praying for those over there and those who have family there. Panhead Pete, good to see you're alright buddy.
My unit was among of the first to respond to Haiti. What a hellish scene. My gut is still wrenching from the catastrophy I saw on TV regarding Japan. I cannot begin to imagine the carnage in Japan. I also feel helpless...(my opinion here, and not of my government) I know we can respond in a much greater capacity (reference Haiti) to this and make things better. Just waiting on the Green Light. I hate watching this on TV, knowing I can help out, but sit with hands tied. To those in Japan: keep the faith, things will improve.
Thank for great words. But that earthquake was tragedy... We are still very afraid of another earthquake and nuclear problems.
we are trying to get our daughter and our 2 grand kids home from there right now, So please keep up the prayers.
Nori my friend, I don't know if you remember me, I did a zine about 9-10 years ago called Real Gone Racket. You contributed to the magazine and I remember you living near the coast. I hope you are all right my friend and you loved ones. Very sad indeed.
