Features Falcons done right?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by guiseart, Nov 20, 2005.

  1. I ran a 250 cast iron manifold. I hate header leaks and the one I had is leaking bad on a friends car right now. Then I had 2 1/2 in pipe out to a flow master 40 series I think it was. Sounded great and set off car alarms as I drove down the street..

that what im talking about! I feel ya on the header leaks, I ran a pacesetter on a 62 sedan and it always leaked! Currently my ranchero has 1.5 single strait pipe all the way to the back!!! Nothing like making some noise with a six!!!

i just purchased a 60 falcon 2dr and plan to lower it. i plan to use 3" lowering blocks, remove a leaf, and maybe install air shocks in the rear. however i dont know how to go about lowering the front. i heard one way was to raise the shock towers but not sure how to go about doing that. could anyone maybe post a few pics to help me out?

    Hey Steve,

Beautiful work! Any info on what you might have done as far as reinforcing her to handle that 460? I see you a lack of shock towers, did you go with a Mustang II front on her?

    Great car!

    Cheers!

Dang You. Now there's drool all over my computer desk. I'm contemplating going with cloth seats. I wear skirts in the summer and I detest sticking to the seats!

Also! Yup, those are bucket seats. The interior is super rough though, I'm probably going to take them down to the frame and re-do them. Ya know. When the time and money fairy shows up.

I'll post more photos once I get a mobile again, that dang fairy is taking way too long!
